The Ultimate Outdoorsman's Snack Guide

Let’s face it, we all know someone who enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping, but inevitably runs into issues from a health perspective due to the lack of choices at the camp, in the boat, or out in the actual wilderness. If you don’t bring it, you aren’t going to find it in any of those places. With that, we decided to put together a quick list of items and foods that you can order or purchase locally to bring with you on your next planned trip.

Preparing before hand is the difference between waking up Monday morning lighter, leaner, and more alert than you finished on Friday. Lack of preparation leads to… well we all know how that feels: heavy, bloated, and groggy. You spend the week performing damage control and clean up, only to find yourself in the same position on Monday. We have all been there. And let’s face it, it sucks. It’s depressing and disheartening to know how hard you have worked all week cooking and preparing your meals only to find yourself enjoying time with family or friends in the outdoors and having to succumb to the only available highly-processed, sugar laden options at your disposal.

But, it doesn’t have to be that way. The options herein can save you from that Monday morning bloat and fatigue. There are plenty of other options and brands out there besides these, but the ones contained here we know of being really good quality and they do what they claim to do: fill you up and keep you healthy and alert.
