We are an unconventional health and performance coaching business.  Our intent is to evaluate where you are and collaborate with you to bring you to where you want be. We are here to improve your personal health outcomes and change the way healthcare is performed by preventing or obviating the problems and not simply managing your symptoms.

HPHI Coaching is a monthly body transformation program that guides you through important—yet sustainable—changes in your eating and lifestyle with help from an expert coach.

We also have a Primary Care Physician and a Functional Medicine Practitioner on staff to serve as your walk in clinic when illness falls upon you or your family. Common items that we treat through the clinic are: Sore throat, Stuffy nose, Bronchitis, Allergies, Poison Ivy, Pink Eye, Urinary Tract Infection, Respiratory Infection, Sinus Infections, Cold and Flu Symptoms, Dehydration, and more.

Common Functional Medicine Issues that we test for and coach through are: Diabetes, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Thyroid Disorders (Including Hashimoto’s), Adrenal Issues, Hormone Dysregulation, Cardiovascular Disease, Inflammation, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Migraines, Heart Burn, Cancer, and Mitochondrial Dysfunction.

We do not encourage striving for perfection. But you have to commit to making small, strategic changes in your life. That is why progress continues to trump the pursuit of perfection. Changing your lifestyle or discovering the root cause of our illness isn’t easy, but it is possible.
No, we don’t give out meal plans. Pre-conceived meal plans and diets aren’t really that useful or sustainable. People often feel like they’re either “on” them or “off” them. They feel like they’ve failed and are beyond hope if they’re not eating perfectly at every meal. Our approach is completely different: We help you build a set of sustainable habits that will serve you for the rest of your life. This means you get to choose, based on your progress and your body’s feedback — with the help of your coach — which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much to eat of them.
You sure can! How has that worked for you thus far? When we want to improve ourselves, the only way to do it is to change one thing at a time. Most often, our failures aren’t directly attributable to the information, but to our lack of implementation and troubleshooting along the way. We are all different. There is no doubt about that. That is why we coach each client separately and start from ground zero with them on day 1. We are here to learn together. If you take an honest look at your life — and at the lives of the people you most respect and admire — you’ll notice something interesting. As human beings, we’re rarely ever transformed by reading more books or articles. Or from watching a documentary. Or from taking a class. Instead, most transformative change happens through a real relationship with another human being — usually a coach or a mentor. Sure, you can try another diet book or read a few more articles, especially if you love thinking about exercise and nutrition. If you get great results with those tools, we applaud you. But if you’re having trouble putting what you know into action, HPHI Coaching might be for you.
Yes. We’ve worked with lots of people who are new to exercise and healthy eating. Remember, we were all beginners at some point. And at HPHI, we do our best to make sure all beginners work at a pace that’s comfortable for them. Not to mention a pace that is conducive to their results and their body’s capacity to adapt.
Indeed. But note that we will want to see all of your training data, recovery stats, sleep scores, hormonal levels, and performance metrics along the way. Word to the wise: WE LOVE DATA. If you are a high level athlete, we’d love to shave seconds (or minutes in most cases) off of your current PR. Our motto stands as is: The only measure of performance, is performance itself.
This is exactly where lifestyle coaching and functional medicine come into play. We aren’t concerned with prescribing medication to our clients. No, no, no. We want to work with them to figure out what the root cause of their disease is, and work on mitigating it from the source. Here at HPHI, we don’t cover up our thorns and protect them as we go through life. We hunt them down and pluck them out, thus allowing our bodies to heal as they know how.
You bet. We have coached clients through everything from bodybuilding to triathlon. To soccer to football. Or track and field to basketball. If your performance goals have anything to do with power, speed, building muscle, or shedding fat… you won’t be disappointed. 
When it comes to food, most clients actually end up saving money on their grocery bills. This is because they make more informed, careful decisions, eat out less, and spend fewer dollars on processed novelty foods, replacing them with whole, delicious natural foods. As for supplements, we may recommend a few health-oriented products, based on your unique needs and goals. However, these are completely optional.
Nope, in fact the majority of our clients start up with us because we do not require exercise in order to get healthy. Don’t believe us? Give us a month to prove it.
Yep, we’d love to work with you. We have worked with all of the above and met them where they currently were in regards to their dietary rules and beliefs. We still may offer other suggestions that might coax you out of your current diet boundaries, but only if they move you closer towards your goal.
  • We do not accept any form of insurance
  • However, you may submit your receipts to insurance and your policy may cover out of network services according to their rules
  • Also, HSA accounts may be used towards your coaching, or a portion of it.
  • When surveyed about the cash-based model, most of our clients agree: “It’s a lot more practical, a lot less expensive, and what’s important to me is getting better and staying well!”
We are not your conventional primary care physician. However, for many of our members we can take the place of a primary care physician. Because you can message us online during business hours we are often able to take care of acute requests. For example, prescribing an antibiotic for a minor infection such as a sinus infection.
